Solace is a FREE interactive aesthetic experience utilizing dynamic audio and bullet hell overtones to provide a unique perspective on the five stages of grief. As the player journeys through each level, the game presents a musical and visual interpretation of each stage of grief representing a range of emotions.

Each level of Solace is themed after each of the five stages of the grieving process: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. The deep background music, ambient over tones of string instruments, and gorgeous art and game design pull you right into the experience, creating heavy feelings in the aforementioned stages.

You can control Solace with the keyboard, however the game does have Xbox 360 controller support.

Solace was the Independence Games Festival 2011 Winner in the Student Showcase.
