Links: The official download page can get a bit squirrelly and seems to end up at some sort of Rapidshare site (which works) once you dig through the forum. The following links seem to be the best places to start especially given that this game has undergone several updates and a name change (Guitar Zero2 to Frontman).

Description:
Frontman is a FREE “Guitar Hero” clone for the PC. If you were like me and always wanted to play Guitar Hero or Rock Band at home but weren’t willing to pony up $60+ for the game and another untold amount of money for the peripheral toy guitar, then this is your chance to rock out. The forum website that supports this game contains song packs and mods to further heighten your enjoyment. Frontman is the next evolution of a game called Guitar Zero 2 and can be played with any of the console toy guitars that are used for games such as Guitar Hero on the Xbox, PS3 or the Wii. You might need to use an adapter for some console guitars including those for the PS3. See the Frontman/Guitar Zero forum for more details. Frontman doesn’t detect the keyboard as controller, you can use an original console guitar or run the additional program also included in he file you download that emulates a joystick with your keyboard. If you’d like to use your keyboard as a guitar I’d suggest you consider Frets of Fire, another FREE PC Guitar Hero clone featured on this blog.

Frontman is an near exact copy of the game Guitar Hero for PS3, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 featuring really good graphics and high quality sound. Frontman also includes a converter which will allow you to convert songs used with Frets on Fire to make them compatible with Frontman.
