No-Action Jacksonis a FREE point and click adventure ceated in the same old-school/retro style as classics like Lucas Arts’ Day of the Tentacle, Maniac Mansion, Sam’n’Max Hit the Road and Day.. So if you like those type of games you’ll love No-Action Jackson as it tried to recreate the same spirit, style and humor that made those game fun and enjoyable. Despite being an indie game, it has been hailed as a commercial quality game with few bad points.

The graphics have that classic 2D adventure game look to them, with bright colors and cartoonishly drawn visuals. The main character is a geeky little kid who wants nothing more then to play Dungeons and Dragons. The sound is decent in an old school kind of way. Voice acting would have been nice but as it is there is only text to read along with.

The game play is challenging and the control system is like any other LucasArts’ game – use the mouse to walk around and click on the various word actions to interact with your environment.

This is an absolutely must have for adventure fans and LucasArts’ fans alike.
